Hotel Monasterio is only a ten-minute drive from the airport. It is just two blocks from Cuzco's central square, where the cathedral and most important museums are located.
Getting Here
Hotel Monasterio can provide transfers between the airport and the hotel upon request. The best way to get to the hotel is by car, which normally takes between 15-20 minutes.

Professional taxis will also be available at the airport.
Transfer to Machu Picchu (from Cuzco)
There are a variety of ways to get to Machu Picchu:
- By train to Aguas Calientes - allow three and a half hours. Trains are run by PeruRail.
- By coach (or taxi) to Ollantaytambo, then by train to Aguas Calientes. Allow three and a half to four hours.
- A regular bus service operates between Aguas Calientes and the Inca ruins where Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge is located, allow 20 minutes.
- Trek along the Inca Trail - special hikes can be arranged that last four to six days.
